Before investing, carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses. The policy's value allocated to the subaccounts will fluctuate. Variable life insurance involves fees and charges such as administrative charges, expense charges, cost of insurance charges, variable policy value charges, premium charges, surrender charges, underlying fund expenses, and, if applicable, transfer processing fees or withdrawal processing fees, which are explained in the prospectus. Certain policy features may differ depending on the state regulations under which the policy is governed. This and other information is contained in the policy prospectus and the underlying portfolio prospectuses. Please contact your registered representative or Symetra for free copies of the prospectuses or visit www.symetra.com for an online copy. Please read them carefully before investing.
The performance figures quoted represent past performance. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Current performance may be lower or higher than the performance data quoted. Performance data as of the most recent month end can be obtained at www.symetra.com. Investment return and principal value may fluctuate with changes in market conditions. Market volatility and interest rate changes, among other factors, can drastically affect a portfolio's return. Thus, when redeemed, units may be worth more or less than what was paid.
You could lose money by investing in a Money Market Portfolio. Although the Portfolio seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 per share, it cannot guarantee it will do so. An investment in the Portfolio is not insured or guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency.

A portfolio is a pooled funding vehicle established by an investment company and made available exclusively to a participating insurance company's separate account. There are special risks associated with investing in certain portfolios. Examples may include small company, geographic, international, emerging markets, interest rate, defaulted debt and sector focus. See the underlying portfolio prospectus(es) before investing.
Several of the subadvisors for some of the subaccount portfolios also manage other mutual funds with comparable names and investment objectives. While the portfolio subaccount may be designed similarly to these other mutual funds, they are not directly related, so the performance between them will likely be different.
The portfolio performance figures reflect past performance, net of common charges including investment management fees, 12b-1 fees and other expenses. They do not include the mortality and expense risk charge, monthly administration charge, distribution charge or the cost of insurance protection. If these charges were included, total returns would be significantly lower. The performance figures are hypothetical because they are based on the investment company's inception date of the earliest share class of each portfolio, which is prior to the portfolio's inclusion in the separate account. This date is listed under the heading, "Initial Sh. Class Incep."
Average annual total return ("Annualized") is the average annual percentage change in the unit value of an investment, assuming the reinvestment of dividends and capital gains, over a stated period of time. The YTD total return is the total percentage change in the unit value of an investment, assuming reinvestment of dividends and capital gains, over the stated period of time.
Current investors are encouraged to obtain a personalized hypothetical performance illustration, which reflects all applicable fees and charges, including the cost of insurance. Illustrations can be obtained by contacting Symetra at 1-800-392-9920.
The Morningstar Rating™ for funds, or 'star rating', is calculated for managed products (including mutual funds, variable annuity and variable life subaccounts, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds, and separate accounts) with at least a three-year history. Exchange-traded funds and open-ended mutual funds are considered a single population for comparative purposes. It is calculated based on a Morningstar Risk-Adjusted Return measure that accounts for variation in a managed product's monthly excess performance, placing more emphasis on downward variations and rewarding consistent performance. The Morningstar Rating does not include any adjustment for sales loads. The top 10% of products in each product category receive 5 stars, the next 22.5% receive 4 stars, the next 35% receive 3 stars, the next 22.5% receive 2 stars, and the bottom 10% receive 1 star. The Overall Morningstar Rating for a managed product is derived from a weighted average of the performance figures associated with its three-, five-, and 10-year (if applicable) Morningstar Rating metrics.
Overall ratings represent a weighted average of specific time period (3-, 5- and 10-year) ratings.
